WHEEL REPAIR

Buckled Alloy Wheel Repair

Buckled alloy wheels are a safety hazard and in some cases, they can be fixed. Ignoring this could lead to costly buckled wheel repair costs, being off the road, having to cancel plans, delays, and unwanted stress. It can result in a tyre blowout at high speed causing a potentially dangerous traffic situation.

We can repair most cracked alloy wheels and buckled wheels depending on the amount of damage caused by potholes. We can also refurbish kerbed and scruffed alloys, the majority of wheel repair and refurbishments involve having the wheels powder coated as well.

Alloy Wheel Welding

When your wheels are subjected to high impact the first thing you notice is the bump. Over time you might start to notice a slow puncture from the cracks caused by hitting a pothole.

These cracks can be welded and the wheel can be straightened. Unless the damage is so bad it becomes more cost-effective to buy a new alloy wheel.

Wheel Straightening

Wheel straightening is a series of hydraulic presses on the wheel. These presses apply pressure to any flat spots on the inner circumference of the wheel. The flat areas will then, ideally, go back to the correct shape to have a safe, balanced wheel.
